Susan Langin passed away on July 19, 2025. Susan was started as a Teaching Teacher on Call (TTOC) and then became a full-time teacher in the District. Mrs. Langin was described by her students as a kind, playful, sweet, fun, helpful, trustworthy and joyful teacher.
Sharon Trefry passed away on May 23, 2025. Sharon was employed at School District No. 5 (and School District No. 2) from 1990 until her retirement. Sharon worked as an Indigenous Support Worker, an Education Assistant and a Noon Hour Supervisor.
Grant Stuart passed away on May 28, 2025. Grant worked as a teacher in the District for many years until his retirement and will be missed by his family, friends and work acquaintances.
Debbie Coleman passed away on January 30, 2025. Debbie worked for the District for many years before becoming part of the Amy Woodland Elementary School staff.
Carol Johns, retired kindergarten teacher for the District, displays the brand new resource supporting learning in Kindergarten through Grade Three. Mrs. Johns has been a primary teacher and advocate for 50 years and provided mentorship to other primary teacher colleagues.
