Mental Health Intake is Fridays between 10am and 2pm at the Chief Joseph Centre located at 1007 Baker Street, Cranbrook.

Confident Parents, Thriving Kids 
There are two different programs offered; Behavioural and Anxiety based. Teachers and Counselling can refer to the Anxiety based program while family physician referrals are required for the behavioural program. Both programs are completed from the comfort of your own home, with phone consultations and weekly check-ins.

Peace Program

The Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment (PEACE) Program for Children and Youth Experiencing Violence is a free, confidential program across BC for children and youth aged 3 to 18 who have experienced violence. The program is offered in either group or individual counselling sessions. 

BounceBack® is a free skill-building program designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, mile to moderate depression, anxiety, stress or worry. Delivered online or over the phone with a coach, you will get access to tools that will support you on your path to mental wellness.

East Kootenay Addiction Services 

East Kootenay Addiction Services Society provides free and confidential counselling to youth, adults, couples and families dealing with difficulties from their own or someone else's substance use. In addition, we provide referral to approved residential treatment and detox facilities, school based educational programs, community education, outreach, harm reduction programs and our youth Teen Empowerment and Mastery Program (TEAM).

Foundry

Foundry is a province-wide network of integrated health and social service centres for young people ages 12-24. Foundry centres provide a one-stop-shop for young people to access mental health care, substance use services, primary care, social services and youth & family peer supports.

Now offering virtual drop-in counselling sessions by voice, video and chat to young people ages 12-24 and their caregivers!

Everyday Anxiety Strategies for Educators (EASE) was originally developed in partnership with Anxiety Canada. EASE uses cognitive behavioural strategies to address the thoughts, feelins and behaviours associated with anxiety.
