Homeschooling programs

• Supervised by BC certified teachers
• Required to meet provincial standards
• Inspected by the Ministry of Education and Child Care
• Meet educational goals faster
• Alternative, self paced programs, K to Grade 12 + adult
• Ability to cross enroll in both their current BC secondary school and enroll with DL for online courses
• Flexibility and customized work plan
• Fully funded by the province of BC

• Are not supervised by a BC certified teacher
• Are not required to meet provincial standards
• Are not inspected by the Ministry of Education and Child Care
• Are still required to register children in a BC school, either public or independent
